BreweryThe Brewery began when two of our employees, Jason Synan and Mike Renganeschi, began brewing beer on the front porch of Mike's apartment. Once we tasted them, we knew we had to have them at Bacchus. The Brewery will continue to help us be a hub of beer culture in the Hudson Valley. We strive to make innovative and inspired beers that will stand toe-to-toe with the wide selection we've offered for years. Here are a few of the beers we are working on now:
Conor Webster (pictured) stepped in as the new Head Brewer of the Brewery at Bacchus in February 2016. Conor started his career in brewing at Stoneman Brewery, on a one barrel system on a farm in Western Massachusetts notable for its bottle conditioning and beer CSA. He is excited to be brewing at Bacchus and is continuing the legacy of creating great beers!

Ad Infinitum Double IPAA big DIPA at 9% ABV. With each batch, we've been working with different hops blends and additions, so while Batch #2 was fruit-forward and packed with citrus, Batch #4 was loaded with pine and balanced with a soft spice character. We're not sure what the next batch will be like, but we know the hops won't disappoint.
Et Cetera Farmhouse AleThis 100% Brettanomyces fermented beer follows in the traditions of Belgian-inspired farmhouse ales while incorporating the aggressive hop character of American beer styles. The 7% beer is dry and effervescent with a distinct fruit character, but like a true farmhouse ale, it's balanced by slight tartness and a bit of Brett funk.
Luxuria StoutThis 9% ABV Imperial Stout was released last month. We pulled half of that batch off and aged it in a variety of whiskey barrels that we got from Tuthilltown Distillery in Gardiner. Once the whiskey character develops we'll be adding cherries to the barrels to create a velvety stout with notes of chocolate, wood, and whiskey.

Opened in November 2005, when the two buildings were joined, Bacchus Billiards is a friendly, family oriented space with 7 full size and 2 bar size pool tables, ping pong, foosball, darts, video, pinball, plus great food, drinks, and service. Parties are welcome!
